This is my Ivan earl spooky trees. The new art skill i used is painting with water colors to create fore and Backround using color. The art element I used is color to make the trees look like they are in different positions. This makes my painting look a lot better by making it very bright and making the foreground darker than the backround.
This is my dreamtime oil pastel piece. The new skill I learned is how to properly use oil pastels, and specifically using dots to draw things instead of using solids lines. This new skill really helped my work, it makes it look unique and very interesting. The art element I used a lot of is color, there are many different colors in the piece and it makes it very bright and pop out. The colors are the best part of the piece since there are so many different colors and dots it makes for a very interesting thing to look at.

This is my second macro still life of a yellow flower that was in the back of the school. The art elements i used were color and value and using complementary colors. The new art skill i learned was using light backgrounds as opposed to a dark one like my last macro still life painting to have less contrast in my painting. I also learned to use a small brush and light strokes to add detail. I have learned that repetition helps my improvement. The complimentary colors made my painting better by making the colors brighter.
